SUBSTANCE: invention relates to applications of compound 11-deoxyprostaglandin of general formula (IV) for obtaining composition for treatment of central nervous system disorder and for obtaining composition for protection of endothelial cells of brain vessels, to pharmaceutical composition based on said compounds, to method of treating central nervous system disorder, as well as to method of treating central nervous system disorder, as well as to compounds of general formula (IV) or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters or amides, on condition that compound is not 11-desoexy-13,14-dihydro-15-keto-16,16-difluor- PGE1.
