FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: monomers or oligomers are split from a polymer under a thermal load. To this end, a worm extruder is used, in which polymer components are mixed, melted and freed from volatile components. The extruder has a melting zone, a degassing zone and a mixing zone for a selective displacer. Degassing is carried out using an inert displacer which is fed into molten polymers and removed from the extruder together with volatile compounds.
EFFECT: production of temperature-sensitive polymer compounds with very low residual content of volatile and split components.
