FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in fitting positive-stiffness spring and extra elastic element made up of revolving bodies. Revolution of said bodies about vertical axis generates centrifugal forces to vary total stiffness of the device. Revolution of said bodies creates "negative" stiffness that depends upon angular rotational speed. Antivibration device comprises elastic additional elements made up of separate bodies articulated by levers with base and protection object.
EFFECT: simplified damping of vibrations.
