SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for thermal imaging diagnostics of pathology of branchial plexus secondary cords. For this purpose first thermal imaging functional examination of upper extremities is carried out with cold test of first diagnostically significant area - hands. If in autonomous zone of innervation of one or several peripheral nerves on hands pathological thermal pattern is detected, second diagnostically significant area is selected on shoulder of forearm in autonomous zone of innervation of peripheral skin nerve, formed from the same secondary cord as the nerve or nerves in the autonomous zone of whose innervation in first diagnostically significant area pathological thermal patterns were detected. Functional thermal imaging examination with cold test in second diagnostically significant area is carried out. If in said area pathological thermal pattern is detected, conclusion about affection of respective secondary trunk of branchial plexus is made.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine level of nerve conduction destruction.
