SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine fuel injector comprises valve element to open and close at least one injection bore is controlled by control valve with its shut-off element closes, in on-seat position, communication between control space and fuel drain line, and opens, in off-seat position, communication between said control space and fuel drain line. Said shut-off element has bore with diameter, mainly, equal to that of said seat, to receive pit with its one end thrusting upon compression rod, thrust plate, or fuel injector body.
EFFECT: ruling out axial forces on injector shut-off element.
