FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: control valve for a fuel injector includes control sleeve (25) and injector part (5). Control sleeve (25) restricts increased pressure cavity (26; 26') and is installed with possibility of being moved in its longitudinal direction. Control sleeve (25) is provided on end surface with sealing surface (27; 27'; 27") that interacts with seat (28; 28'; 28") made on injector part (5). Groove (24; 24') is made in injector part (5) on the side facing cavity (26; 26'). Control sleeve (25) and groove (24; 24') are made so that their deformation under action of pressure in cavity (26; 26') leads at least to approximately equal offset of seat (28; 28'; 28") and sealing surface (27; 27'; 27").
EFFECT: reduction of the wear of the valve in the seat zone.
