FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this method can be applied for thrashing of cereal and oil-bearing crops. Vegetable mass is fed to a gap between a drum and a deck plate for thrashing, where it is moved along helicoidal line, and pressure is applied to it by working surfaces of threshing elements due to rotation-vibration movement of vegetable mass. During threshing the drum is not rotated, and pressure is applied to vegetable mass along overall annular space of the gap by threshing elements which are installed in rows along drum generatix by rotation-vibration movement of its butt-end working surfaces. Vegetable mass is fed to threshing gap from lead-in of deck plate butt end by an optional blade feeder. Mass movement along helicoidal line is provided due to rotational movement of the deck plate equipped with guide plates located at its inside surface.
EFFECT: decrease of process energy intensity, increase in productivity and quality.
