FIELD: mechanic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of mechanic engineering, and more specifically to gears. Gear and quill drive contains a driving element, annular and output element. In the specified gear the progressive ratio and actuating moment transmission is reached due to a grange of flexible gear segments. Driving element is executed in cross-section in the form of a driven shaft and is characterized by a grading in a form of a cross-sectional disc with one or several wedges. Between the driving elements grading and gear segments it should be positioned a bearing assembly in a form of rotating bearing. Gear segments are installed with the possibility of a linear movement with the help of an outer contour of driving elements grading. Moreover, the gear segments are interconnected with respective parts of annular and output element.
EFFECT: provision of a greater torsion torque.
