FIELD: analytical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device is used to measure the concentration of oxygen in various gaseous media, for example, in chemical industry, oil-and-gas industry, metallurgy, medicine, life support control systems in enclosed volumes. The analyser comprises a permanent magnet with two pole bars which creates magnetic field pulses in two gaps of the magnet conductor by moving the magnet poles in relation to the poles of the analyser magnetic system, a non-magnetic chamber through which the gas is transferred. The non-magnetic chamber contains thermosensitive elements in the inhomogeneous magnetic field zone, the said elements monitor the thermomagnetic convection which is proportional to the concentration of the analysed paramagnetic gas. The thermosensitive elements form a part of the measurement bridge circuit, a measuring signal is formed at its output. The analyser also contains an amplifying and conversion circuit. The periodic movements of the permanent magnet poles from one pole of the magnetic system to another pole creates magnetic field pulses in turns in each gap, and bridge thermosensitive elements form a bipolar measuring signal from the bridge circuit output, which results in amplification of the output signal amplitude at the analyser measurement bridge.
EFFECT: analyser sensitivity is at least doubled; reduced power consumption due to the removal of electric magnet.
