SUBSTANCE: method of reservation X data transfer slots for sending data from the initial device to the receiving device via multisegment broadcast includes sending the first transit segment reservation request from the initial device to the receiving device in order to transmit data from the first to the second device. The first transit segment reservation request identifies the initial device, the receiving device and X suggested slots which must be reserved for the first transit segment; the initial device then receives the first message sent from the second device, specifying that the request is waiting to be processed and X slots suggested by the initial device are reserved by the second device. Then the initial device receives another message specifying that the receiving device has accepted the final transit segment reservation request.
