FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of chemistry and can be used for production of aluminum polyoxychlorides that are extensively used for purification of natural and waste water. Liquid industrial wastes of the organic synthesis with the aluminum chloride content of 17-27 % are filtered in order to remove mechanical impurities. Then water is removed from the liquid wastes in two stages. At the first stage no more than 50 % of water is removed by vacuum evaporation from the filtered aluminum chloride solution thus obtaining wet salt. At the second stage high-temperature spraying of the wet salt is performed at the temperature of 170-190°C. As liquid industrial wastes of the organic synthesis, wastes of cumene production can be used.
EFFECT: considerable reduction of the prime cost of the commercial product, simplification of the production method using standard home equipment.
