FIELD: industrial chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cooligophenolformaldehyde phthalide-containing novolacs based on 3-phenyl-3-(4'-hydroxyphenyl)phthalide and phenol, the way of their production and to cross-linked phthalide-containing copolymers based on them. The cooligophenolformaldehyde phthalide-containing novolacs are manufactured on the basis of 3-phenyl-3-(4'-hydroxyphenyl)phthalide and phenol with the general formula 
 where m=5-10, p=1-2 as cooligomers for production of cross-linked phthalide-containing copolymers.
EFFECT: production of cooligophenolformaldehyde phthalide-containing novolacs that are stable in the course of synthesis, in storage and processing, development of their production method and production of the cross-linked phthalide-containing polymers that are promising from the point of view of heat-resisting and electroactive materials creation.
