FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: the method relates to oil development. The method for development of high-viscosity and heavy oil with thermal action includes: drilling of horizontal injection and output wells; injecting heat carrier into injection wells and extraction of high-viscosity and heavy oils from output wells. The horizontal injection well is drilled towards the horizontal output well in the same interval with the subsequent construction of multidirectional side bores which are parallel to the horizontal output well with the step of 50 - 400 m; and the bores are completed. The temperature of extracted products is adjusted by deactivating adjacent injection well bore to reduce the temperature or by activating inert injection well bores to increase the temperature.

EFFECT: possibility to adjust the temperature of extracted product while reducing the cost the method, expanded heat action coverage of oil reserves.
