FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry. In method of development of high-viscosity and heavy oil deposit with thermal effect before construction of wells, productive formation roof map and map of effective oil-saturated thicknesses are plotted, section of deposit with oil-saturated thickness of pay is selected more than 6.5 m. From the side of hypsometric roof mark falling to its growth side horizontal section of production well is drilled. Injection well is drilled towards production site, above rising horizontal section of production well upward section of injection well with angle of ascent to 7°. Heat carrier is pumped through injection well. Product extraction is performed from producer with temperature control.

EFFECT: higher oil recovery factor, longer operating life of deposit with simultaneous reduction of costs for reservoir heating by 25 %.
