FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to swirl gas or fluid flow and to increase outflow head. Proposed swirler consists of hollow case made up of five and more bulged curved tapes coiled in vertical plane in vertical direction and bent along screw lines in transverse direction on mandrel representing a paraboloid of rotation to form screw lines and bulged curved screw surfaces along perimetre relative to axis of symmetry of aforesaid case with centers of curvature located there inside, and laps inside said case representing screw vanes all over case length from inlet to outlet.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced drag and increased head.
