FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to separate dispersed particles from gases or vapours and may be used in power engineering, oil processing, petrochemical and chemical industries. Through-flow separator comprises flanged casing with inlet and outlet and fluid discharge opening. Casing perimeter represents multistart helical surface with helical grooves inside and outside of said casing in the form of pockets with their centres of curvature alternating outside and inside of casing cross-section. Casing perimeter is composed by three and more strips twisted in helical lines on the mandrel in the form of paraboloid of revolution, their size increasing over width to three and more inner curved convex surface to produce the laps inside the casing in the form of screw vanes over the entire casing length from load side to discharge side. Helical spring with device to vary turn pitch by spring compression or expansion is arranged along container length. Fluid discharge hole length should be at least one full pitch of the casing helical surface.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
