FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to "true reflector" type thermostatic coatings with high resistance to UV radiation, and can be used in spacecraft passive thermal control systems. The thermostatic coating composition contains binder based on 15% solution of acrylic resin AS in a mixture of xylene and butanol solvents in ratio of 85:15 and silicone lacquer, which is a 50% solution of polymethylsiloxane resin in toluene, an organic solvent and aluminium paste TRP. The organic solvent used is a mixture of xylene and butanol in weight ratio 85:15. Components of the thermostatic coating composition are in the following ratio, wt %: 15% solution of acrylic resin AS 42-47; 50% solution of polymethylsiloxane resin 29-33; aluminium paste TRP 20-26; mixture of xylene and butanol in weight ratio 85:15 - up to application viscosity.
EFFECT: high resistance to the effect of cosmic space factors, longer active life of spacecraft, obtaining the following values of thermal radiation characteristics on the surface of articles.
