FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed plug is intended for solid-propellant rocket engine operated underwater and started after its expulsion by powder pressure accumulator from launching container. Said plug comprises guide cylinder accommodating emergent flooding valve locked by emergency retainer. The latter is set to operated when external pressure acts on emergent flooding valve that corresponds to tolerable pressure of emergent dive. Guide cylinder is provided with radial openings, while emergent flooding valve is made up of plunger with its shaft extending into rocket engine inner chamber. Shaft diameter is smaller than that of plunger. Nearby guide cylinder outer face arranged is reciprocating piston locked by launch retainer set to operated when external pressure acts on said piston that corresponds to tolerable pressure of emergent dive. Plunger weight exceeds that of the piston.
EFFECT: higher reliability and simplified design.
