FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: threaded connection includes male and female components. Male component is equipped with outer thread having the apexes, cavities, support sides and base sides of turns. Female component is equipped with inner thread having the apexes, cavities, support sides and base sides of turns too. At least on one element of the apex of turn, support side and base side of outer thread and apex of turn, support side and base side of inner thread there formed is at least one deviation from initial profile. When male and female components are being brought to the specified mutual position during assembly there provided is the reduced gap between turns of outer and inner threads in the zone at least of one deviation. Methods for manufacturing the thread and shaping of this threaded connection are described.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability.
