SELF-LOCKING THREADED JOINT PARTIALLY IN UNLOCKED ENGAGEMENT Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC E21B17/42

Abstract RU 2813839 C1

FIELD: pipes and hoses.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a self-locking threaded joint partially in unlocked engagement. Threaded joint comprises a first tubular component and a second tubular component. First pipe component comprises a first pipe body and a male element. Male element is located at the distal end of the first pipe body. Male element outer peripheral surface comprises at least one male threaded area. One male threaded area is located along the longitudinal axis of the threaded joint between the first pipe body and the male end surface. Second pipe component comprises a second pipe body and a female element. Female element is located at the distal end of the second pipe body. Inner peripheral surface of female element comprises at least one female threaded area. One female threaded area is located along the longitudinal axis of the threaded connection between the second pipe body and the female end surface. Male threaded area has a first male threaded section and a second male threaded section. First male threaded section is located along the longitudinal axis of the threaded connection between the second male threaded section and the first pipe body. Width of thread recesses of the first male threaded section decreases in the direction directed from the male end surface towards the first pipe body. Width of thread recesses of the second male threaded section is constant. Width of the thread recesses of the second male threaded section represents the minimum width of the male thread area recesses. Turn of the male thread closest to the male end surface represents the maximum value of the width of the recesses of the male threaded area. Female threaded area comprises a first female threaded portion and a second female threaded portion. First female threaded section is located along the longitudinal axis of the threaded connection between the second female threaded section and the second pipe body. Width of thread recesses of the first female threaded section decreases along the direction oriented from the female end surface towards the second pipe body. Width of thread recesses of the second female threaded section is constant. Width of the thread recesses of the second female threaded section represents the minimum width of the female thread area. Turn of the female thread closest to the female end surface represents the maximum value of the width of the recesses of the female threaded area. First male threaded section and the first female threaded section are assembled into a self-locking configuration.

EFFECT: providing a threaded joint comprising a first tubular component and a second tubular component.
