SUBSTANCE: mobile terminal comprises the following: a terminal body having a printed circuit board; and a card slot installed on the printed circuit board and arranging multiple external cards so that multiple external cards are electrically connected to the printed circuit board. At the same time the card slot includes the following: the first holding compartment, configured to hold the first external card, the second holding compartment configured for placement on the first holding compartment and holding the second external card, and a withdrawal mechanism that withdraws the first external card from the first holding compartment according to sliding of the sliding unit, and the sliding unit is formed as capable of sliding on the first holding compartment. Besides, the first and second holding compartments are configured so that the second external card fully covers the first external card, when the first and second external cards are inserted into the first and second holding compartments, accordingly.

EFFECT: easier withdrawal of the external card from multiple holding compartments laid one above the other by means of the withdrawal mechanism and reduction of the area to install the card slot on the printed circuit board.
