METHOD OF TREATING PERMANENT MECHANICAL INJURES Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61G10/02

Abstract RU 2444347 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely surgery, traumatology, intensive care and can be used for treating patients with a permanent mechanical injury. That is ensured by 3 to 12 hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) sessions at partial pressure of oxygen pO2 0.1 to 0.25 MPa. Duration of a session makes 20 to 30 minutes. Additionally, the method can involve introducing the blood-substitute solution heparin. Also, with regard to a degree of the injury, the method can involve the peritoneal lavage, abdominal drainage and intestinal decompression.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness in the patients with the presented pathology ensured by fast normalisation of microcirculation that leads to better hemodynamics values, acid-base metabolism and stabilised cardiac performance.
