FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of continuous heterogeneously-catalysed particle dehydration of hydrocarbons. Proposed method consists in the gas mix reaction flow containing hydrocarbon in molar ratio KW is forced cumulative layer of catalyst consisting of several separate layers in total amount M so that, in working moment t0 and on passing of the flow through 1st third of amount M, portion A of initial KW is converted in dehydrated hydrocarbon, while on passing 2nd third portion B is converted into said hydrocarbon, and, on passing through 3rd third, portion C is converted into dehydrated hydrocarbon, given A>B>C. Note here that additional dehydration gases are forced into flow before its entering the catalyst layer and its flowing therefrom. Cumulative layer of catalyst deactivation talking place as it is consumed is prevented by varying flow temperature conditions inside said cumulative layer and/or flow rate of said additional dehydration gases. Note here that said variation is made so as to reduce portion A, make portion B cross maximum and to increase portion C.
EFFECT: optimum deactivation of cumulative layer of catalyst.
