FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: fuel gas is compressed using a liquid ring compressor, separated and filtered from dropping liquid and mechanical impurities, followed by membrane separation into fuel "light" gas and low-pressure "heavy" gas. The fuel "light" gas is taken for use in gas reciprocating power plant s and the low-pressure "heavy" gas is recycled to the inlet of the liquid-ring compressor.
EFFECT: invention increases methane index and reduces calorific value of the gas.
