FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designing and operating of liquid-propellant rocket engines, namely, to jimbal mount that makes an integral part of said engines to control engine thrust vector in two mutually perpendicular planes. Jimbal joint incorporates bearing supports with chamber pins and traverse interconnected by frame. Note here that said mount comprises four additional bearing supports connected by frame and fitted in pairs on chamber and traverse pins, axes of said pins are perpendicular to axes of the other supports while chamber pins are additionally supported by brackets.
EFFECT: reduced load in mount bearing elements, uniform transmission of thrust to engine frame and carrier rocket body.
