FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: cable is installed with the help of a transport and a transported vessels, such as a submarine and a tender connected to it and equipped with a cable compartment with an automatic control system, cable lowering and its installation at the bottom, an inhabited compartment for splicing and monitoring of the cable and an automatic device to maintain the tender at the specified distance from the bottom, by means of cable compartment filling with water along with cable consumption, at the same time cable installation is carried out without submarine surfacing. At the same time negative pressure is neutralised under the tender bottom, by means of water flow aeration under the tender, in the area of negative pressures, and the tender is positioned relative to the route of cable installation by means of the underwater navigation system and a vessel navigation module and positioning of a cable layer with the transport vessel, comprising at least two small-sized inertial navigation systems, hydroacoustic facilities for measurement of depth and speed and a satellite navigation system, and a course detector, which are connected to a system for processing of the recorded information in an information manner.
EFFECT: elimination of impact from environmental conditions, ice, surge on the sea, and making it possible to install marine cables in any regions of the globe.
