FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method is designed to control a frequency converter based on a voltage inverter and a three-phase bridge rectifier installed on a network input and made on transistor keys with double-sided current conductivity without application of a capacitor filter in a DC level. It may be used to achieve electromagnetic compatibility of the converter both with the supply network and the load circuit. The technical solution consists in application of high-frequency width-pulse modulation of averaged values of rectified voltage on the basis of the scalar management principle.
EFFECT: improved power indices due to elimination of a low-frequency network component in harmonic composition of rectified voltage with simultaneous approximation of current curves consumed from the grid to the shape of network phase voltages.
