SUBSTANCE: at the stage a) processing of cellulosic fibrous material is carried out with sulfur-free carbonate solution to obtain pre-treated cellulosic material, and at the end of a) with the solution having a ph of 7 to 9.1. At stage b) processing of pretreated cellulosic material is carried out with pulping chemical for a sufficient time and at a sufficient temperature to obtain a cellulosic pulp. Moreover, at least at one stage the cellulosic fibrous material is processed with anthraquinone.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce the amount of pulping chemical spent for pulping process during the required treatment.
