SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining monosaccharides or ethanol together with sulfinated lignin from lignocelluloses biomass. Stage of preliminary processing of lignocelluloses biomass in accordance with the method represents acid pulping, where quantity of SO₂ constitutes from 10 to 60% wt/wt. Said stage can also represent alkali pulping, where quantity of Na₂SO₃ constitutes 5-60% wt/wt, whereas quantity of base constitutes from 5 to 25% wt/wt. As version said stage can represent weak alkali pulping, where quantity of Na₂SO₃ constitutes from 10 to 60% wt/wt, whereas quantity of Na₂CO₃ constitutes from 3 to 25% wt/wt.
