SUBSTANCE: nozzle box serves to direct steam in steam turbine and comprises annular chamber formed by outer and inner annular walls, and multiple inlets communicated with annular chamber. Said inlets provide for discharge of steam into annular chamber at oblique angle to inlet central axis. Annular chamber comprises first flow path with cross section changing from, in fact, ellipsoid nearby intersection with first inlet flow path to, in fact, rectangle nearby second inlet flow path. Another invention if the set covers steam turbine above described nozzle box.

EFFECT: higher uniformity of flow distribution in nozzle box annular chamber.
