FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger with a double plate comprising a group of plate elements assembled into a block, every of which comprises the first plate and the second plate. On the surface of at least the first plate there is a relief comprising a group of holes protruding at the first distance from the plate plane, and a group of grooves protruding at the second least distance to the plate plane. The first plate and the second plate are connected to each other so that ledges form in combination ducts that communicate with edge parts of plates.
EFFECT: using the specified ducts, a heat exchanger makes it possible to successfully detect leaks, provides a good thermal contact between heat exchange fluid media, carried out by means of plates, namely via flat sections arranged between ledges.
