FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cleaners of rows and heads of trimmed roots of white beet of beet-harvesting machinery, mostly wide-cut haulm removing machines. The cleaner contains flexible beaters (9), mounted on a shaft (8), established at an angle to the direction of movement in the hinge-suspended body (11), a transmission of shaft rotation (8) with beaters (9), a feeler unit of relief (12, 13), the device of regulation of position of the lower edge of the rotating beaters (9) relative to the reference surface of the feeler unit of relief (12, 13). The feeler unit is made in the form of a lever spring-loaded to the soil separate for each row of beet with the ability to oscillate around a horizontal axis and is connected to the casing of the shaft (8) of beaters with adjustable screw rod. The axis of oscillation of the feeler unit coincides with the axis of the pivot of the shaft rod (8) of the beaters (9). The feeler units (12, 13) and shafts (8) with beaters (9) for a pair of adjacent rows are set mutually in a mirror way. Transmission of beaters (9) rotation is adapted for counter-rotation of beaters of this pair at the surface of the soil.

EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in power consumption and elimination of knocking out the roots of beet.
