FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: top cutter includes a driving copier of beetroot-crops tops, pivotally mounted on the machine frame, a disc blade with a beater, joined with the shaft in a hinged housing, mounted on the machine frame by a parallelogram suspension kinematically linked with the driving copier, and a cardan gear of the disc blade of the machine transmission. A hollow elbow fitting is connected to the hinged housing. The axis of its knee pin is perpendicular to the axis of the hinged housing and to the direction the machine movement. The upper crank of the parallelogram suspension is made double-bend and hollow with a joint on the center line. One knee is movably connected to one to pin of the elbow fitting, and the other knee is movably connected with pin on the housing of the cylindrical gear of the machine transmission. The axis of the pin coincides with the axis of output shaft of the gearbox and is perpendicular to the direction of the machine motion. The cardan gear of the disc blade of the machine transmission is placed inside the hollow double-elbow crank and the elbow fitting, and contains a drive shaft connected to the output shaft of the machine transmission gear, as well as dual small-sized hinge coupling connected to the shaft in the hinged housing, and connects kinematically the output shaft of the machine transmission gear with the shaft in the hinged housing of disk blade drive with the beater. The mobile units of a hollow double-elbow crank contain rubber sealing parts.
EFFECT: invention provides increased reliability and simplified design of the top cutters drive.
