FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of glass. One of the components used to produce glass is dried wastes from production of mineral fertiliser, which are formed from decomposition of aluminium hydroxide with hydrofluorosilicic acid. The mixture for making glass contains the following components in wt %: quartz sand 10.0-60.0; soda 5.0-15.0; said wastes from production of mineral fertiliser 25.0-85.0. In another version of the invention, the mixture for making glass contains the following components in wt %: soda 5.0-15.0; said wastes from production of mineral fertiliser 85.0-95.0.
EFFECT: obtaining glass using wastes from production of mineral fertiliser and simple method of making glass.
