FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disk brake comprises caliper, brake disk, brake pads, pressure device, adjustment device jointed with set screws, cover and pad wear indicator communicated with reduction gearbox connected with set screw. Brake caliper embraces brake disk. Brake pads stay in working contact with brake disk. Pressure device serves to force brake pad via set screw to brake disk. Adjustment device serves to compensate air gap between pad and disk caused by wear. Cover closes adjustment device and is secured on brake caliper. Pickup running along concentric path is attached to pressure control valve to interact with pad wear indicator. The latter is made up of contactless sensor to detect and transmit pickup angular position change to processing device. Reduction gearbox comprises planet gear. Pickup is directly or indirectly fitted on crown gear.
EFFECT: ease of assembly, disassembly and replacement.
