FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of motor industry, in particular, to a sensor of disc brake wear. The wear sensor comprises a sensor unit, a transmission, made as capable of interaction with the sensor unit, and a central drive element. The sensor comprises one additional inlet for another inlet parameter or a characteristic parameter, besides, the additional inlet is designed for interaction with the transmission, which is made in the form of a planetary transmission. The method to recognise a measurement signal of a sensor consists in the fact that the measurement signal depending on various operational condition of the disc brake corresponds to one of two different inlet parameters or characteristic parameters of the brake wear sensor. The disc brake comprises a wear sensor.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides for the possibility to record various inlet parameters or characteristic parameters.
