SUBSTANCE: method and device are provided to transmit/receive pilot characters for demodulation of control channel information in wireless communication upline. When enhanced node B (ENB) is waiting for both channel quality indicator (CQI) and acknowledgement (ACK)/non-acknowledgement (NACK) to be received from user equipment (UE) in specific subframe, if UE transmits CQI-channel only, ENB may not detect nonexistent ACK/NACK-information from CQI-channel, thus allowing no false notifications.
EFFECT: higher capacity of communication downline due to correct CQI detection.
