FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses methods and apparatus for transmitting an acknowledgement signal to user equipment (UE) over multiple transmission time intervals (TTI). The acknowledgement signal is a signal in response to reception of a data packet, and is transmitted in different resources in each of the multiple TTI if data packet reception is reception through scheduling, or is transmitted in the same resource in each of the multiple TTI if data packet reception is periodic. UE, which transmits the acknowledgement signal over multiple TTI, must not transmit additional acknowledgement signals in the next TTI before transmission of the initial acknowledgement signal is complete. The UE must also not transmit data transmission signals or other control signals in the same or next TTI before transmission of the acknowledgement signal over multiple TTI is complete.
