SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely addictology, reflexotherapy. A method involves psychotherapeutic talks and acupuncture by needle introduction in auricle points. During the talk, the patient is taught to techniques to manage carving for tobacco smoking by the use of techniques of switching over to important occupations and objects, or by self-assisted auricle massage by the periphery and point acupressure. The points are arranged on periungual beds of fingers. The acupuncture is preceded by abstinence for a period of time tolerable by the patient. It is followed by one acupuncture session in auricle points. Thereafter, the patient is enabled to apply techniques to manage carving for tobacco smoking.
EFFECT: method reduces length of treatment and provides higher clinical effectiveness ensured by the individualised psychotherapeutic approach.
