Acupuncture therapy session is carried out making the patient reproduce the process of lighting a cigarette together with concomitant gustatory and olfactory sensations in mind every 1-2 min. The acupuncture therapy session is to be stopped when the patient turns out to be incapable of feeling any gustatory and olfactory sensations in some following attempt to reproduce in mind the process of lighting a cigarette.
