FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to crimp tool 2 for making permanent joints of such parts as fittings, tubes, couplings etc, for drinking water or hot water supply. Proposed tool comprises two rotary elements 4 with, at least, one crimp jaws. Said rotary elements 4 are articulated with rotary shaft 6. Inner shape of opposed crimp jaws 1 form receiving section 12. Inner shapes feature inclined sliding surface arranged at 35° to 60°. In crimping, part surface and tool inclined surface are brought in contact. Crimp force in directed radially inward and transmitted from sliding surface to part surface. Part of crimp force is diverted axially for part crimping in axial direction.
EFFECT: decreased sizes and weight.
