SUBSTANCE: method to monitor the process of gas wells watering includes performance of gas dynamic tests of wells, processing and analysis of their results. At the same time between the dates of gas dynamic tests performance, using a pressure transient test, a gas debit and bottomhole pressure are recorded in process of well operation at the process mode specified by the project of gas deposit development. Values of the first and second main components are identified, which correspond to highest own numbers of covariance matrix of initial data, including values of zero and first derivatives of gas debit, squared gas debit, bottomhole pressure. Analysis of dynamics of the first and second main components in time is carried out. Curves of their variation in time are built, and conclusion is drawn on availability of bed waters in the bottomhole area of the producing bed by crossing of the curves of the first and second main components.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of watering start identification.
