FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for diagnosing the beginning of flooding of gas wells and preventing their self-damping, and can be used in the development and operation of gas fields. According to the method, an arbitrary packerless well is selected, on which wellhead tubing pressure, wellhead annular pressure and flow rate are measured with a certain frequency. Then, according to the data obtained, a time dependence graph is built and areas are selected on it with a simultaneous drop in wellhead pipe pressure and flow rate with an increase in annulus wellhead pressure. After that, the coefficients of multiple correlation and multiple determination are calculated if the value of the multiple correlation coefficient exceeds the critical value equal to ≥ 0.9, then the beginning of the process of watering the gas well is acknowledged, if the obtained values are less than critical, then the watering of the gas well does not occur.
EFFECT: timely diagnosis of the beginning of watering of gas wells.
