FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: valve electric drive with casualty control contains three-phase synchronous motor with rotor position detector installed at motor shaft, three-phase frequency converter connected to power supply source and phase winding of synchronous motor, revolution setter, three current sensors included into circuit of synchronous motor stator winding. Outputs of current sensors, output of rotor position detector, revolution setter and three-phase frequency converter are connected to microcontroller. Three protective elements are connected to power supply source, three-phase frequency converter and microcontroller.

EFFECT: design simplification and extended capabilities of valve electric drive with casualty control in case of emergency shutdown of one phase of three-phase thyratron motor with maintenance of circular rotary field.
