FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, oncology, and may be used for tumour growth inhibition. For this purpose sodium bicarbonate 0.4-2.0 g/kg is introduced in the tumour tissue as a sonosensitiser. In 2-5 minutes, the tumour tissue is locally exposed to ultrasound radiation. The tumour tissue is heated to temperature 38-42°C.
EFFECT: method enables more effective tumour growth inhibition and provides safety of the method ensured by the use of the non-toxic sonosensitiser.
