FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to design of shipboards of tankers, offshore oil- and gas storages. Proposed double wall shipboard comprises outer board, inner board and vertical interboard diaphragms with through cutouts welded to boards. Said vertical interboard diaphragms are jointed to boards by purposely loose weld seams with decreased seam leg making not over 0.6 of standard weld seam leg. (Item 1.7.5, Part 2 of The Rules of Russian Marine Registry of hipping).
EFFECT: guaranteed breakaway of vertical diaphragms from outer shell in hull deformation.
