SUBSTANCE: burner unit for a household gas cooker comprises a body (104) of a burner, which has a central area and multiple extensions (106) passing radially outside from the central area. The burner unit may have a burner cover (120) with a central area and several extensions passing radially outside from the central area. The burner cover is installed on top of the assembled burner body. The burner cover may have at least one ledge arranged on the external perimetre of the central zone and between two replaceable radial extensions. At least one ledge forms a gap between the external wall of the burner body and the inner wall of the ledge. This gap or the flame stabilisation chamber serves for gas and flame collection, which helps to maintain flame during operation in a low-temperature mode.
EFFECT: stability of burner flame during operation in a low-temperature mode.
