FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fluorine compounds and can be used in production of sodium silicofluoride from hydrofluorosilicic acid. The method of producing sodium silicofluoride involves reaction of hydrofluorosilicic acid and sodium carbonate, settling the suspension and drying the product. Hydrofluorosilicic acid is first mixed with a mother solution collected after settling the sodium silicofluoride suspension in volume ratio 1:1-2. The reactants react in a tubular reactor.
EFFECT: method reduces metal consumption of the process and avoids power consumption for mixing reactants.
