FIELD: construction, road engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and may be used to collect oil and other similar liquids spilled onto surfaces of rivers, artificial and natural water reservoirs. The device comprises an overflow element formed by grids connected into a wedge-like belt and a rear wall made in the form of a tight chamber filled with air. Grids are made of a bar bent as a rectangular curve, one of which is arranged in the horizontal plane, and the other one - at the angle of 30 degrees to the first one. The device includes an overflow mat floating on water for interaction with a side of inclined grids that faces the overflow element. Some longitudinal parts of grid links are connected to each other and to a tow rope arranged in the top of the wedge-like belt with the help of split bushings, and opposite longitudinal parts of links of one and other grids are fixed accordingly at the opposite sides of a tight chamber with the help of loops made of film. In the top of the wedge-like belt between the grids there is a tight floating chamber filled with air that ensures position of the wedge-like belt top as slightly lower the water reservoir level. At the same time the device is equipped with a container arranged at the bottom from film, one longitudinal edge of which is connected to the tight chamber along its upper part, and the other one is thrown over along the tow rope and is connected with the inner longitudinal edge of the floating overflow mat via bars of the inclined grid.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of device operation.
