FIELD: construction, road engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular, to the method for prevention of origination of a progressing avalanche of collapse of a cover containing ribbed reinforced concrete boards. The method consists in the fact that cover boards are arranged as double- or triple-span. Longitudinal ribs of boards are made as tubular from oval profiles with relative section height h/b=3. Boards are laid onto steel crossbars in a staggered order, displacing them in a longitudinal direction towards each other by 1/2 or 1/3 of length. Oval longitudinal ribs of adjacent boards are fixed to each other by alloyed bolts passing through them. Nuts are securely tightened with a nut setter, thus ribs are prestressed. Therefore cover boards are integrated, creating a rigid cover disc. Support sections of board ribs are integrated by similar bolts with a cover crossbar.
EFFECT: prevention of origination of a progressing collapse with a growing avalanche and higher reliability of a cover system.
